Organizing association: Prosecco Cycling – Limited Liability Sporting Amateurish Association
Prosecco Cycling – Limited Liability Sporting Amateurish Association – under the aegis of ACSI Ciclismo, organizes the sporting event Prosecco Cycling on Sunday, 3 October 2021, in Valdobbiadene (Treviso) – Italy.
Art. 1 PARTICIPATION
Paragraph 1. Number closed to 2500 participants. The participation is allowed with any kind of bicycle (racing bicycle, electric bicycle, touring bicycle, gravel bike, tandem, recumbent, hand bike). The application for admission can be submitted by the following cyclists of both sexes, using the application forms provided:
a) ITALIAN CARD-CARRYING CYCLISTS, aged between 18 and 75 years old (included), with valid card for the year 2021 issued by ACSI Ciclismo, by F.C.I. or by the bodies in direct agreement with it or with Bike Card and recognized by the C.O.N.I., only if in possession of the medical certificate for competitive sports practice of cycling, pursuant to Art. 4 of Italian Ministerial Decree No. 164/24.04.2013.
b) FOREIGN CARD-CARRYING CYCLISTS, aged between 18 and 75 years old (included), with license, which must be valid for the current year and issued by their own national cycling league, only if in possession of the medical certificate for competitive sports practice of cycling, pursuant to Art. 4 of Italian Ministerial Decree No. 164/24.04.2013 (see fac-simile).
c) ITALIAN CARD-CARRYING TOURING CYCLISTS must mandatorily attach to their application for the admission, the copy of their medical certificate for competitive sports practice of cycling, according to Art. 4 of Italian Ministerial Decree No. 164/24.04.2013; everything must be submitted in original format at the moment of the call for withdrawal of the technical envelope and the race package.
This certificate must not be dated more than one year before the date of the event. Otherwise the participation is not allowed.
d) ITALIAN AND FOREIGN NON CARD-CARRYING CYCLISTS, who do not belong to any sporting society or association and foreign card-carrying cyclists without U.C.I. license, aged between 18 and 75 years old (included), to get registered to the competition must mandatorily pay, in addition to the registration fee, a surcharge of € 10,00 for the activation of the multi-risk insurance policy and the third-party liability insurance (see the policy), valid only for the duration of the event and non-refundable in case of non-participation.
Paragraph 2. The multiple card-carrying for ACSI Ciclismo, F.C.I. and one or more sporting promotional associations or for a foreign federation is forbidden.
Paragraph 3. For Italian and foreign non card-carrying cyclists, in addition to the application for admission, to be prepared online, it is compulsory to send the copy of a valid identity document, to be provided at the moment of the call for withdrawal of the technical envelope and the race package, pursuant to Art. 38 of the Italian Decree of the President. of the Republic No. 44/2000 and for non card-carrying cyclists, for Italian touring cyclists and for foreign card carrying cyclists without U.C.I. license, the medical certificate for competitive sports practice of cycling, pursuant to Art. 4 of Italian Ministerial Decree No. 164/24.04.2013. This certificate must not be dated more than one year before the date of the event, otherwise the participation is not allowed.
Paragraph 4. The people mentioned by Art. 3.7 and 4 of the Technical Regulation 2021 of ACSI Ciclismo are not allowed to submit the application for admission.
Art. 2 FURTHER OBLIGATIONS CONCERNING THE APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION
Paragraph 1. By undersigning the application for admission or however with the payment of the registration fee, every single participant undertakes to observe this Regulation and to behave conscientiously and carefully during the event.
Furthermore, the participant states and confirms:
a) to be in possession of a valid medical certificate for competitive sports practice of cycling and exempts the organizer from any kind of liability;
b) to have read the health instructions prepared by the organizer, (see instructions) which can be consulted online on the official website of Prosecco Cycling as well as inserted in paper format inside the technical envelope of each participant, and to strictly comply with the regulations concerning the Covid-19 health emergency, according to national and regional legislation.
c) to have read the information on the processing of personal data of participants, and to consent to the processing of particular categories of data for the purposes of carrying out the pre-contractual and contractual measures, better described in paragraph 1 of the Information, as well as the use and/or dissemination and/or publication – also on the Prosecco Cycling website and social networks and/or in any case connected to the event, as well as through other channels (e.g. brochures, flyers, etc.) audio and video footage, as well as still and/or moving photographic images, without territorial limits, created for the Prosecco Cycling sporting event or other events/competitions organized and/or sponsored by the sports club itself, promotional, informative, archival and documentary purposes related to the organizer’s activity, aware that the installation and use of the images and filming are to be considered free of charge and that the right to use the images and audio/video footage is intended for an indefinite period;
d) to be aware that participation in Prosecco Cycling 2021 is potentially an activity at risk and consequently assume all the dangers deriving from participation in the event: such as illness, falls, contacts and/or collisions with vehicles, with other participants, with spectators and/or other and/or for accidental events prejudicial to safety, which may also occur due to adverse weather conditions and/or due to traffic and/or the conditions of the road surface;
e) to be aware that the organizer is not responsible for any acts of vandalism, theft, prejudicial events of any kind that the participants may suffer by anyone in the various stages of the event, also remaining the custody of any object (thing) provided to each single participant;
f) to be aware that at the end of the race the organizer will make available to the participants a guarded bike parking, located at Villa dei Cedri, in Via Piva, Valdobbiadene, and usable on Sunday, 3 October 2021 from 12:00 to 5:00 pm;
g) to exempt therefore the organizer, volunteers and all the employed staff from any liability, with no exception, for any damage happened during the event as a direct and/or indirect consequence of statements, facts, circumstances, or physical states or conditions caused by a violation of this Regulation and imputable to the participant itself or to other participants;
h) to accept the unquestionable judgment of non-admission, exclusion and/or disqualification and/or decay expressed by the organizer in the cases expected by this Regulation.
Art. 3 CONDITIONS – TERMS AND WAYS OF REGISTRATION TO THE COMPETITION
Paragraph 1. Registration must be made online on the Endu portal on the official Prosecco Cycling webpage, by filling in the online application form with payment by: credit card; satispay, bank transfer and attaching, where required, the necessary documents referred to in art. 1 of this Regulation. For anyone who registers to the competition within Sunday, 26 September it will be possible to get a personalized race number including name and surname.
Paragraph 2. The organizer is empowered, at its unquestionable discretion, not to admit the participants who have submitted the registration to the event. In this case the paid participation fees will be reimbursed.
Paragraph 3. People mentioned by Art. 3.7 and 4 of the Technical Regulation 2021 of ACSI Ciclismo are not admitted to the competition and in any case for those who are sanctioned by sporting and/or ordinary justice.
Paragraph 4. In case of proven impossibility of participation, and exclusively for health reasons, the fee paid will be reimbursed by the organizer upon a motivated request from the participant – withholding € 10,00 for secretarial costs and bank charges – attaching the relative medical certificate, to be drawn up according to the specific application form for non-participation (see application form) and to be sent by e-mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org under penalty of forfeiture within and not later than 15 days from the date of the event.
Paragraph 5. Registrations open on Wednesday, 7 April 2021 and close on Sunday 26 September 2021 at midnight. The closure of the registrations may be anticipated in case of reaching the number of 2500 registered participants and anyway within the established terms. It is possible to verify the confirmed acceptance of the application for admission by checking the Endu portal on the official webpage of Prosecco Cycling 2021, within 5 working days from the submission of the application. The race number is assigned pursuant to Art. 4 of the present Regulation.

Paragraph 6. The application for admission for the online registration of applicants must be submitted by attaching the following documents:
IF CARD-CARRYING TOURING CYCLISTS: the copy of the medical certificate for competitive sports practice of cycling, currently valid and in original format at the moment of the call for withdrawal of the technical envelope and the race package. Otherwise the participation is not allowed.
IF FOREIGN CARD-CARRYING CYCLISTS WITHOUT U.C.I. license: the copy of the medical certificate for competitive sports practice of cycling, currently valid (see fac-simile) and in original format at the moment of the call for withdrawal of the technical envelope and the race package. Otherwise the participation is not allowed.
IF FOREIGN AND ITALIAN NON CARD-CARRYING CYCLISTS: the copy of a currently valid identity document pursuant to Art. 38 of the Italian Decree of the President of the Republic No. 445/2000 and the medical certificate for competitive sports practice of cycling (see fac-simile). These documents must be submitted in original format at the moment of the call for withdrawal of the technical envelope and the race package. Otherwise the participation is not allowed.
Paragraph 7. The Society and/or Sporting Association must disclose and make known to its members and/or associates the present Regulation. The President of the Society and/or Sporting Association, through the undersigning of the application for admission for the online registration, must make sure that each card-carrying member/associate is in possession of all admission requirements set by the Regulation of Prosecco Cycling 2021, by stating to exempt the organizer from any civil and criminal liability for declarations that do not conform to the truth and/or for omissions and/or for the lack of required control.
Paragraph 8. The online registration for both ITALIAN and FOREIGN cyclists must be made with payment by: credit card, satispay, bank transfer filling in the provided gaps requested by the organizer.
Paragraph 9. The replacement of one or more participants is allowed by keeping the possibility to get a personalized race number with name and surname only no later than Sunday, 26 September 2021 at midnight, filling in the specific application for replacement with other participant (see application) and by paying the amount of € 10,00 for secretary charges on the current account in name of: PROSECCO CYCLING S.S.D. Paragraph 10. The replacement can also be made on Friday, 1 Octber, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm and on Saturday, 2 October, from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, at the registration secretary office, located in Tenuta Villa Sandi, Via Tesser, 1 – Valdobbiadene, loc. Zecchei, at the cost of € 15,00 (cash payment) in addition to the possible surcharge of € 10,00 (non-refundable in case of non-participation) for the activation of the insurance policy referred to in art. 1, paragraph 1, point d) of this Regulation.
Paragraph 11. Group registrations are allowed for card-carrying members who already belong to the same society and/or sporting amateurish association.
Art. 4 PARTICIPATION FEE

Paragraph 1. To take advantage of reduced registration fees, societies and/or sporting associations must simultaneously register a minimum number of 10 participants to the competition. If the established number cannot be reached, individual registration fees are applied pursuant to point A).
Paragraph 2. The registrations will reopen, if the closed number of participants is not reached, on Friday, 1 October from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Saturday, 2 October from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm at the registration secretary office located in Tenuta Villa Sandi, Via Tesser, 1 – Valdobbiadene, loc. Zecchei, at the cost of € 60,00.
ITALIAN AND FOREIGN NON-CARD CARRYING PARTICIPANTS who do not belong to any kind of society and/or sporting association and foreign card-carrying cyclists without U.C.I. license to get registered to the competition, must mandatorily pay, in addition to the registration fee, a surcharge of € 10,00 (non-refundable in case of non-participation) for the activation of the insurance policy according to Art. 1, Par. 1, point d) of this Regulation.
IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO GET REGISTERED TO THE COMPETITION ON SUNDAY, 3 OCTOBER NOR IS IT ALLOWED TO COLLECT THE TECHNICAL ENVELOPE AND THE RACE PACKAGE.
The participation fee includes:
Technical envelope including dorsal race number and bike number, with related badges and strings and single-use chip; timing service; race package; participation medal; medical assistance; technical and mechanical assistance including the free supply of inner tubes in the event of puncturing (excluding spare parts); road safety service, refreshments on the race course; guarded bike parking, showers and toilets; “Tiramisù Taste Event”.
Art. 5 GOLD REGISTRATION
Paragraph 1. Exclusive and reserved for only 150 registered participants, starting from the first line at Prosecco Cycling 2021 only upon payment of a surcharge to be paid online by credit card, satispay, bank transfer. The Gold Registration will be available from 28 December (2020) up to available places.
Paragraph 2. In addition to the application for admission, it is mandatory to attach the documentation required by art. 3 paragraph 6 of this Regulation.
Paragraph 3. Only for Gold participants the delivery service of the technical envelope and race package is provided also on Sunday morning, 3 October, from 6:30 am to 7:30 am, in the hospitality area, set up in the lodge of the Municipality of Valdobbiadene at Piazza G. Marconi. Furthermore, the guarded bike parking will be available near the area. The Gold participant will receive an identification bracelet that will allow access.
All the offered and reserved services for Gold Registration can be looked up in detail on the official website of Prosecco Cycling.

Art. 6 CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS AND DELIVERY OF TECHNICAL ENVELOPE – RACE PACKAGE
Paragraph 1. The call for participants is fixed on Friday, 1 October from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm and on Saturday, 2 October from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm in Tenuta Villa Sandi, Via Tesser, 1 – Valdobbiadene, loc. Zecchei.
Paragraph 2. Single participants must provide:
a) their own card in original format or readable copy (if card-carrying cyclists) or an identity document (if non card-carrying cyclists);
b) for touring cyclists, non card-carrying participants and foreign card-carrying cyclists without U.C.I. license, their identity document and medical certificate for competitive sports practice of cycling (see fac-simile) in original format.
Paragraph 3. For Societies and/or Sporting Associations only the president or a delegate may be present at the event with the list of participants by delegation for the delivery of the technical envelope and the race package (see the delegation) showing the names of their members and duly completed with the stamp of the society and/or sports association and signature of the contact person, even if previously sent by e-mail: email@example.com.
Paragraph 4. The technical envelope and the race package will not be delivered on Sunday morning, 3 October.
Paragraph 5. The technical envelope includes the dorsal race number and the bike number with related badges and strings, the single-use chip, as well as the documentation including the essential information regarding the participation to the competition. The technical envelope is strictly personal and cannot be transferred to third persons; the penalty is the immediate exclusion from the competition. It is not allowed to reduce, cut and/or hide eventual imprinted brands. on the race number.
Paragraph 6. Participants will also be given the free ticket to access the “Tiramisù Taste Event“, available from 12:00 to 5:00 pm at Villa dei Cedri in Via Piva in Valdobbiadene. Those who do not have the free ticket and any accompanying persons, may to enjoy the service only upon payment of € 5,00 per person. Minors under the age of 18 may enjoy the service, provided they are accompanied by their parents or by an adult.
Art. 7 DELEGATION FOR THE COLLECTION ON BEHALF OF THIRD PARTIES
Paragraph 1. The delegated persons for the collection on behalf of third parties of the technical envelope and/or of the race package must provide proof of identity which must be issued in copy and deliver the delegation for the collection on behalf of third parties (see the delegation), filled in and signed by the delegating party, as well as the required documentation according to Art. 6, Paragraph 2, points a) and b) of this Regulation.
Every single correlated detrimental effect coming from the inobservance of the further requested duties remains under liability of each single participant, of the delegated person for the collection and/or of the President or delegated person of the society and/or sporting association, with exemption of the organizer from any kind of liability as a consequence.
Art. 8 ACCESS TO THE START LINE
GOLD REGISTRATION: from number 31 to number 200
UNIQUE STARTING GRID: from number 201 to number 2500
The access to the start line will be allowed from 7:30 am to 8:10 am through Via Marconi and Via Erizzo di Valdobbiadene, through the control gate provided by the organizer.
The organizer reserves the right to disqualify anyone who does not respect the opening and closing times of the gate for access to the start line and/or does not respect the instructions provided by the staff.
Art. 9 START TIMETABLE
Meeting at 7:00 am. Start at 8:30 am in a unique group.
Unique route: km 100,4 – difference in level: 1600 m.
Refreshment points: the participants who wish to enjoy the refreshment points will have to stop with a foot on the ground.
Art. 10 TIMING SERVICE AND CHIP
Paragraph 1. The timing service will be provided by MySDAM with single-use chip technology.
Paragraph 2. Other personal chips are not allowed.
Paragraph 3. The single-use chip including instructions for use will be delivered in the technical envelope, and must be placed on the front wheel or front fork of the bike.
Paragraph 4. The participants who will avoid the time-taking and/or to ride along just one of the four timed stretches provided along the race, will not appear in the final rankings.
Paragraph 5. No deposit is required for the use of the single-use chip.
Art. 11 RANKINGS AND AWARD CEREMONIES
Paragraph 1. The INDIVIDUAL CATEGORY RANKING will be drawn up in alphabetic order based on the sum of the set Real Time timings, exclusively in the four uphill timed stretches provided and marked along the race course.
However, it will be possible to visualize also the time spent for each single climbing in addition to the timing of the whole race with category and absolute position, in all cases not worth for the rankings. All the participants included in the following section will be part of the rankings, referred to the categories of ACSI Ciclismo:
from 18-29 years old
Paragraph 2. The firsts classified of each category will be awarded at the same time according to the sum of the times established in Real Time, exclusively in the three timed uphill stretches provided and marked along the race course. Participants with pedal-assisted bikes will not be included in the individual category ranking, in the 4.10 ranking and in the Fun Team ranking; they can instead compete exclusively for team ranking.
Paragraph 3. The TEAM RANKING awards the team composed without distinction of men and women, card-carrying members of the same team, with the highest number of participants (minimum number: 10), which will ride across the finishing line within 30 seconds between the first and the last of its own enrolled members, within the maximum time of 4 hours and 45 minutes from the start. This team will receive the trophy as winner of Team Ranking and a supply of 66 bottles of Prosecco Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Docg. The next four teams will receive, in the order, 60, 54, 42 and 30 bottles, to be collected in the way referred to in paragraph 10 below.
Paragraph 4. In the case of teams that set the same number of competitors within 30 seconds, the team with the shortest time on the entire race course will prevail.
Paragraph 5. New The 4.10 RANKING awards the group composed without distinction of men and women, card-carrying members of the same team, which will record the worst result in the average of the three timed climbs. This average will be calculated by adding the averages of the three timed climbs achieved by the 10 members of each team who achieved the worst result. This group will receive the original black shirt as winner of the 4.10 Ranking and a supply of 48 bottles of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Docg. The next four teams will receive, in the order, 36, 24, 12 and 6 bottles, to be collected in the way referred to in paragraph 10 below.
Paragraph 6. The FUN TEAM RANKING awards the group composed without distinction of men and women and card-carrying with the same team, who will make the best time on the entire race course (km 104,8). The group must be composed of a minimum number of 5 participants, who must pass on arrival within 30 minutes between the first and fifth of their members. This group will receive the trophy as the winning team of FUN TEAM RANKING and a supply of 48 bottles of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Docg. The next four teams will receive, in order, 36, 24, 12 and 6 bottles, to be collected in the way referred to in paragraph 10 below.
Paragraph 7. The ranking (Teams, 4.10 and Fun Team) does not preclude the possibility for each individual athlete to also compete for the individual category ranking.
Paragraph 8. Each team registered to Prosecco Cycling may choose to take part in all the rankings (Teams, 4.10 and Fun Team) while always respecting the minimum number of participants as required by each ranking.
Paragraph 9. The Individual ranking will be shown only with the first of each category, while the Team ranking, 4.10 and Fun Team, only with the first five teams. The Individual Category Ranking, the 4.10 Ranking and the Fun Team Ranking will be shown at 1:30 pm at Piazza G. Marconi, where the relative awards will subsequently take place. The complete rankings will also be available online on the Prosecco Cycling website from 5:00 pm. The Individual Category Ranking will be complete even with the time recorded by the participants in each individual climb and on the entire race course, with the category and absolute position, but not for the purposes of the ranking.
Paragraph 10. The supply of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Docg may be withdrawn only on the day of the race no later than 5:00 pm at Villa dei Cedri in Via Piva in Valdobbiadene, with the obligation to provide the appropriate document certifying the winning and delivered by the organizer to the secretary office located at Piazza G. Marconi in Valdobbiadene.
Paragraph 11. A special prize will be awarded to the foreign competitor coming from farther away, for having participated in Prosecco Cycling 2021.
Paragraph 12. In case of more competitors coming from the same country the prize will be given to the oldest one or to a woman, if they are the same age.
Paragraph 13. The organizer reserves the right not to deliver the prizes to third parties and/or not to send them at home; believing that they must be delivered exclusively on the day of the race in the established ways and at the established times.
Art. 12 ROAD CODE AND FURTHER BEHAVIOUR RULES
Paragraph 1. The vehicular traffic during the event is temporarily suspended for 1 hour, between the start-of-race and end-of-race car. The participants must however proceed with extreme caution observing the necessary precautions, since, without the knowledge of the organization and/or for events unrelated to the event and/or for unpredictable situations caused by third parties for the non-compliance with the provisions in force, or for the disinformation of road users, risks may arise for the safety of the participants even during the suspension of vehicular traffic between the start-of-race and end-of-race car. In such cases, the organizer considers himself exempted from any liability.
Paragraph 2.The competitors that will be overtaken by the end-of-race car will have to carry on out of the competition under their own responsibility, according to the rules of the rode code.
Paragraph 3. It is compulsory to keep the number on the bike until the end of the event.
Paragraph 4. It is compulsory to wear the homologated protective helmet.
Paragraph 5. For what is not contemplated in the present Regulation, it is compulsory to refer to the Regulation of ACSI Ciclismo, concerning the amateurish cycling activity, touring bike and sporting bike activity, and it must be observed by each single participant.
Paragraph 6. Participants will also be required to respect the state of the places and not to throw garbage along the roads, having to put them in the appropriate containers at the refreshment stations. Competitors who do not respect the state of the places and/or throw garbage outside the marked areas and/or who do not behave correctly and/or civilly during the event will be immediately disqualified.
Paragraph 7. In order to ensure the best outcome of the event, assistance from private vehicles (scooters, motorcycles, cars, etc.), including mechanical assistance (already provided by the organizer) following the race or simply at the roadside, is prohibited; the expected consequence will be the immediate exclusion of the participant and the non-authorized persons from the competition.
Paragraph 8. Specific motor vehicles are provided for the recovery of the participants and for their transport to the finishing point for anyone who, for any kind of reason, would not be able to terminate the provided race route.
Art. 13 HEALTH SERVICE
Paragraph 1. The health service is provided after the competition at fixed locations indicated along the race route.
Paragraph 2. The PMA (Advanced Medical Post) will be arranged at Piazza G. Marconi, in the rear part of the Cathedral, in Valdobbiadene.
Paragraph 3. In any case the organizer is not responsible for any intervention and/or decision taken by the health service staff.
Art. 14 MECHANICAL SERVICE
Paragraph 1. The mechanical service is provided after the race and in fixed positions, which are marked along the race route.
Paragraph 2. Any spare parts are to be paid, except for the wheels. In the event that replacements are made with spare parts, personal data of participants will be requested and their race number will be reported. After the arrival at the finishing participants must go to the secretary office located at Piazza G. Marconi in Valdobbiadene to pay the spare parts receipt and/or return the replaced wheels. In case of puncturing the inner tubes will be provided for free by the organizer.
Paragraph 3. In any case the organizer is not responsible for any intervention and/or decision taken by the mechanical service staff.
Art. 15 SHOWERS AND TOILETS
Paragraph 1. Showers and toilets are available on Sunday 3 October from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm, at the municipal swimming pools in Via Kolbe n. 8 in Valdobbiadene.
Art. 16 CANCELLATION OF THE COMPETITION
Paragraph 1. In case of circumstances due to force majeure, such as for natural disasters, strikes, riots or in case of suspension and/or cancellation of the event issued by the race director and/or by the authorities in charge, the competition may be cancelled.
Paragraph 2. In all the aforesaid circumstances, the organizer will not reimburse any fee, but it will undertake to keep a part of the admission fee valid for the 2022 edition.
Art. 17 COMPLAINTS
Paragraph 1. Any complaints must be submitted in writing by the participant and/or by the President or delegate of the Sports Club and/or Sports Association to the competition jury located at the secretariat offices at Piazza G. Marconi in Valdobbiadene, under penalty of revocation, within the maximum time of thirty minutes from the arrival of the last competitor, upon payment of the fee prescribed by ACSI Ciclismo.
Paragraph 2. In case of justified complaint the whole paid amount will be refunded.

Paragraph 2. The regulation is officially filed and registered at the Municipality of Valdobbiadene, Sport Office.

Art. 19 REGULATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
The personal data of the participants will be processed in accordance with the Information on the processing of personal data (see Information).
Art. 20 FINAL NOTICES
As for what has not been treated in the present Regulation, please refer to the Technical Amateurish Touring Cycling Regulation of ACSI Ciclismo 2021. The organizer reserves the right to modify the present Regulation at any time for the reasons it deems appropriate and for a better organization of the event. Any changes to services, places and/or timetables will be communicated by e-mail to the participants and reported on the official Prosecco Cycling website.
