On 30 September 2022 Prosecco Cycling together with TD Five Boro Bike Tour New York (32,000 Participants), Cape Town Cycle Tour (35,000 Participants) and, on 29 September 2023, with RBC GranFondo Whistler of Vancouver (10,000 Participants) signed an important memorandum on environmental sustainability, united by the objective of sustainable development and careful protection of environmental resources.
TECHNICAL BOX
Technical box contains front plate for bike with its laces, as well as QR Codes in outside with all main information to attend the Event. Participants registering within h. 24:00 of Friday 06 September 2024, will receive bike front plate personalized with their name, PICA code for photos and QR Code with health information if communicated by Participant to Organizer at the time of registration.
TIRAMISU TASTE EVENT
This is the most popular and well-known Italian dessert in the world. A local tradition says that Tiramisù was supposedly invented by an ingenious 'maitresse' of a pleasure house located in the historic centre of Treviso.
The landlady would have prepared this aphrodisiac and invigorating dessert, to be offered to her customers at the end of the evenings, in order to invigorate them. The recipe is said to derive from 'sbatudin', a mixture of egg yolk beaten with sugar, commonly used by country families of Treviso Territory as a restorative or for newly-weds. Mascarpone, coffee and cocoa was then added to this dessert. 'Tiramisù Taste Event' is a great showcase for this famous dessert.
Once they have crossed the finish line in Valdobbiadene, Participants in Prosecco Cycling will be able to move to nearby Villa dei Cedri for a tasting session, extended to their companions, of the popular spoon dessert always served with Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG. Visitors not having the free voucher provided to participants in technical box, and any companion, will be able to take advantage of the service by paying the fee of only €5.

INDIVIDUAL
Prize to to top finishers in each category based on the total times recorded in Real Time, exclusively for the three timed uphill segments specified and marked along the route. It will also be possible to view the time taken for each individual climb, along with the category and overall position, but not for rankings.
Top finishers in each category will receive a valuable gift.
Participants with pedal-assisted bikes are not included in the Individual Category and Fun Team rankings. They can only compete for Team ranking and We2gether.
To enter Individual Category and Fun Team rankings, it is mandatory to cover regularly the last 27.6 km of the route - from the last timed climb of Collalto - to the arrival in Piazza G. Marconi in Valdobbiadene not before than 11.40 (average speed of 26 km/h), under penalty of exclusion from the ranking.
FUN TEAM
Prize to Teams made up of men and women, Members of the same Team achieving the best time only until the end of the last timed section. Team must be composed of (minimum 5) Participants passing compact upon arrival at the end of the last timed section within 30" between the first and the fifth of their Members. Team not placing at least one woman in the top 5, will be penalized by 15 minutes.
First Team will receive the Trophy and a prize of 30 bottles of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG. The following four Teams will receive: 24, 18, 12, 6 bottles. The Prize of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG can be collected only on the same day of the event after h. 15:00, at Information Point, Piazza G. Marconi in Valdobbiadene, after showing an identity document and/or membership card and only after the arrival of the last participant.
The above-mentioned ranking does not prevent from competing for the following rankings as well: Individual Category, Teams and We2gether. Chip, which is optional, can be purchased by online registration form and is only required for Individual Category and Fun Team rankings.
To be included in Fun Team ranking, it is mandatory to complete the last 27.6 km of the route regularly – from the final timed climb at Collalto to the finish Piazza G. Marconi in Valdobbiadene – in no more than 00:55’, under penalty of exclusion from the ranking.
TEAMS
Prize to the first five Teams made up of men and women indiscriminately, registered with the same Group, classifying the highest number of Participants (minimum 10) on arrival within 30" between the first and last of their Members within the maximum time of 4 hours 45' from departure. First Team will receive the Trophy and a prize of 60 bottles of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Docg. Next four Teams will receive respectively 54, 48 and 36 bottles.
Prize of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG can be collected only on the same day of the event no later than h. 15:00, at Information Point, Piazza G. Marconi in Valdobbiadene, after showing an identity document and/or membership card and only after the arrival of the last Participant.

WE2GETHER
Prize to team or group, consisting of both men and women, that, with a minimum of 10 participants (not necessarily registered with the same team), presents the best set design at the finish line to highlight the concept of environmental sustainability and the landscape of the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, UNESCO World Heritage site.
First team or group will receive a prize of 30 bottles of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG. Next four teams or groups will receive, in order: 24, 18, 12, 6 bottles. The prize can only be collected on the day of the event, after 15:00, at information point Piazza G. Marconi in Valdobbiadene, after showing ID card and/or membership card, and only after the arrival of the last participant.

It is personalized with a bottle of DOCG Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Villa Sandi - Rive di San Pietro di Barbozza. Do You know what the meaning of RIVE is? In Veneto Dialect, “RIVE” indicates a plot of land or a vineyard located on a hill characterized by important slopes, where the work is entirely hand done but on a land that gives an excellent quality to the grapes making the wine “unique”. “RIVE” are often given a particular and local name in order to identify the precise lot. “RIVE” denomination can only be used for “sparkling” wine and not for still wine. The yield per hectare must be limited and the production year is to be indicated on the bottle. Naturally processed Lazzaris Bio Jam where the original taste of fruit is preserved is added. Furthermore, thanks to the careful selection of Italian Confederation of Farmers of Treviso, local food products, coming from certified and controlled crops at km 0! are included.
TECHNICAL KIT

It will be possible to leave bikes in the reserved and guarded Parking located in Piazza G. Marconi at the back of the Town Hall House of Valdobbiadene, next to the Hospitality Area. The guarded parking will be open from h. 06:30 to h. 17:00.

On the day of the Event, breakfast will be served right here before departure and, immediately after arrival, You will enjoy the opportunity to taste a sumptuous buffet-lunch prepared by great chefs with Italian and local food excellence from sustainable agriculture, together with Villa Sandi DOCG Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore.

INFO AND QUOTES
To access the Hospitality Area with another person (non-participant companion), you will need to pay, in addition to Gold registration fee, a contribution of € 60, by completing the appropriate (online form). Minors under 18 years of age can access Hospitality Area only if accompanied by parents or an adult; for children aged 5 to 10 years, the fee is reduced to € 20, to be paid at the entrance.
Only Gold participants are eligible for the delivery service of technical and gift box on Sunday, September 28, from h. 6:30 to h. 7:30 , in the Hospitality Area, at Loggia of the Municipality of Valdobbiadene, Piazza G. Marconi, with the possibility of leaving bikes in the guarded and reserved parking lot behind the Municipality until h. 17:00.

TIMING SYSTEM
Timing service is provided by EvoData through single·use chip technology. Purchase and use of the chip is optional! Participants wishing to be included in Individual of Category and Fun Team, can purchase the chip by application·form adding only € 7 to the chosen participation fee. No deposit is required for single·use chip and different personal chips cannot be used.
TECHNICAL AND MECHANICAL ASSISTANCE
Mechanical service is provided in the wake of the Race. Any spare parts are subject to a fee, except for the wheels. The participation contact will be reported to Organizer in the event that replacements are made with spare parts. After arrival, Participant must present himself at Info Point, located in Valdobbiadene, Piazza G. Marconi to pay for the spare parts and/or to return the wheels for replacement. In the event of a puncture, the inner tubes will be provided for free by Organizer.
MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
Health service is provided in the suit of event and at fixed locations indicated along the route. P.M.A. (Advanced Medical Station) will be set up in Valdobbiadene - Piazza G. Marconi behind Duomo. Each participant will find in technical box a label reporting medical assistance number, to be carried with and to contact in case of need.
GOURMET STOPS ALONG THE ROUTE
True gourmet stops are planned on Prosecco Cycling route: in Refrontolo, just a few kilometers from the start, you can enhance your ride with Tiramisù, a tasting of the world’s most famous spoon dessert. For this occasion, it will be served not only in the traditional. In San Pietro di Feletto, after climbing Muro di Ca' del Poggio, you’ll find the traditional stop featuring Prosecco and Scampi, while in the charming Piazza Rovere of Col San Martino, you can enjoy Trippa, another classic of Italian culinary tradition!
SPIEDO (Spit Roast) OF ALTA MARCA TREVIGIANA
After crossing the finish line in Valdobbiadene, Participants in Prosecco Cycling event, will have the opportunity to head to nearby Villa dei Cedri, where, from 12:00 to 4:00 PM, a tasting session will take place. This experience, also open to accompanying guests, will feature the renowned Spit Roast known in Treviso dialect as “Spèo”, always paired with Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG. This traditional rural dish, typical of Treviso Prealps, dates back to times when meat was a rare delicacy, consumed only on special joyful occasions. It consists of a mix of meats - specifically chicken and pork in this case - cut into different sizes, skewered along with lard and sage, and slowly roasted for 5 to 6 hours (or more) over the radiant heat of a wood fire. The dish is traditionally served with Maranello “polenta” (boiled cornmeal). Participants without free voucher, provided in their technical box, as well as accompanying guests, can enjoy the tasting by paying a fee of € 10 per person.
FINISHER GIFT
The commemorative medal that will be given to all participants immediately after the finish line is produced in Murano – Venice, exclusively for Prosecco Cycling, with recycled glass from the Murano furnaces. Each medal will be hand-engraved by Maestro Marco Varisco.
GUARDED BIKE PARK
Participants can safely store their bike in the guarded parking, located at Villa dei Cedri, Via Piva in Valdobbiadene. Parking is available only on Sunday 28 September 2024, from h. 12:00 to h. 16:00.
SHOWERS AND TOILETS
Showers and toilets are available on Sunday 28 September from h. 11:30 to h. 16:00 in the municipal swimming pools building, in Valdobbiadene, Via Kolbe n. 8.

TIRAMISÙ MORALBERTI
First gourmet stop awaits in Refrontolo, featuring the world-famous spoon dessert with Treviso origins. Tiramisù was created in the heart of Treviso between 1700s and 1800s in an old inn, where the establishment’s owner - brilliant “maitresse” of the pleasure house - allegedly invented this aphrodisiac and invigorating dessert. She would serve it to her clients at the end of evening to reinvigorate them and help them fulfill their marital duties upon returning home. A must-try pairing for this delicacy is Refrontolo Passito, wine beloved by Mozart, who referred to it as "excellent Marzemino" in his opera Don Giovanni. The tradition of producing Marzemino Passito in Refrontolo dates back to the 1400s.The harvest takes place in late September, once the grapes have fully developed their aromatic profile and softened their tannins. The carefully selected grapes are then left to dry. When they reach the ideal level of dehydration, they are gently destemmed and pressed, with only the best berries chosen for maceration and fermentation. After the vinification process, the wine is aged for 36 months in oak barriques, followed by further refinement in bottle to achieve the prestigious Colli di Conegliano Refrontolo Passito DOCG.
PROSECCO AND SCAMPI
After climbing Muro di Ca’ del Poggio - the first and most famous of the three timed climbs among UNESCO World Heritage Hills - participants will enjoy the now-classic Prosecco and scampi stop. This year, the tasting will take place near the ancient Pieve di San Pietro di Feletto, a sacred building dating back to an age between 7th and 9th centuries, boasting a unique and timeless charm.
TRIPE & BEER
A traditional dish that has evolved from a simple peasant meal into a true gastronomic delicacy. In the charming Piazza Rovere of Col San Martino, tripe takes center stage. It is a protein-rich, lean, and easily digestible meat sourced from bovine belly. For the occasion, it will be paired with craft beer made with the finest 100% natural ingredients.
TROUT FROM SILE OASIS
We chose a sustainable path even for gourmet dishes with trouts from Emanuele Durigon Farm: high-quality fish from Veneto aquaculture, which, compared to other animal production systems, proves to be the most efficient in terms of impact on the use of resources such as water, soil, and energy. Fish farming brings a real benefit to conservation of environmental resources and to protection and maintenance of habitats and biodiversity, safeguarding some species otherwise destined to extinction.
VENETO HAM
As early as 1400, Michele Savonarola, a Paduan doctor and gastronome spoke of a ham with a lively and full flavor, coming from a perfect balance between the choice of raw materials, salting times, duration and maturing conditions. Its aroma is delicate and personal, a classic for the most refined tables. Among these, Prosecco Cycling could not be missing, as it has always been dedicated to promoting the best local food products.
CASATELLA TREVIGIANA DOP
Casatella Trevigiana DOP, produced by Latteria di Soligo, is a fresh cow's milk cheese with raw, soft, shiny and slightly creamy paste, delicate aroma and sweet taste. It is the hallmark of cheese art handed down from generation to generation in Treviso territory. Mild and fresh in the mouth, it is characterized by a sweet and strong taste, balanced by a light and delicate aroma.

WORLD CYCLING SUSTAINABLE EVENT
On 30 September 2022 Prosecco Cycling together with TD Five Boro Bike Tour New York (32,000 Participants), Cape Town Cycle Tour (35,000 Participants) and, on 29 September 2023, with RBC GranFondo Whistler of Vancouver (10,000 Participants), signed an important Memorandum on Environmental Sustainability. Guidelines for the promotion and development of Environmental Sustainability, included in the Memorandum, provide for the implementation of good energy saving practices, office and warehouse management, transport, logistics, choice of suppliers, equipment and materials; to the implementation and improvement of digital functions as a contribution to reduction or elimination of printed paper.
The four important Events undertake to promote, with the support of Public Administrations, the use of bikes as a sustainable means of transport and to identify measures to support the organisation of sports events and cycle paths towards the protection of the environment and sustainability. Moreover, in the relationship with partners and suppliers, Companies having undertaken · or willing to · a path towards full environmental sustainability are privileged. Awareness, level of responsibility and participation of Cyclists in environmental issues will also be raised.
